The Ship

This was the beginning of getting back to painting with brushes - I Think it was British Battleship 'The Renown' ? Dont know what happened to it? One of the uncles got it ?  

The Second Ship

The second ship I tackled; I had been to a Naval Gallery looking for inspiration -There was this massive painting so intricate - had a big ship lots of small ships boats around it - I took a picture with my camera and this is what was in the corner- lucky for me I never got caught - might have been thrown out and camera confiscated- Ha ha 

The First Ship

This is the first ship I did - I saw this on a postcard, I was not too keen on the sky, so after about 6 weeks - I painted what I thought it should look like- Good thig about oils you can go over and paint what you want!

 The Mayflower 

Auntie Rene and Uncle Bob have been on that in Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts, I have never been thereany way I had a cigarette card of this.   I wanted to have 3 picture of ships that would go together
