EARLY WORK

Early Work - 1958

When my mother died my sister and I went to clear her place out. We found these in one of her chests of drawers. she had saved them. I did these when I was about 13 - 14? at school. so, they are now about 67 years old. The Chinese one I never finished, Ana asked if she could do it - She did the faces and then gave up.

Trying to remember stuff I had done- when I first got into Pallet Knife, I did some picture for cousins, uncles

and friends, First ones I did, My cousin Ray had two ships on the shore- Not very interesting or clever- either his daughter r one of her brothers gave to one of their nieces.

Cannot remember her name but she has them -

And she took them to 'The Antique Road Show ' ha ha They didn't tell me the outcome. Anyway they aren't worth Tuppence- Ha ha

I have some photos, but they are not very good. Those are the ones above - The Trees - I have some spare canvass

Just did the trees fooling around - Nothing special - I still have them
